In the original unclipped dust wrapper designed by Michael Ayrton, a noted artist and graphic designer perhaps best known for his work on Wyndham Lewis’ ‘The Human Age’ trilogy.

Winner of the prestigious James Tait Black Memorial Prize, rather than chapters, the work is split into three ‘books’, each reflective of the protagonist’s emotional state. 

In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition with shelf wear to the extremities resulting in slight creasing and the occasional minor closed tear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.

Grading: FINE in a NEAR FINE dust wrapper.
