Lee’s debut work, ‘The Lion House’ follows the relationship of Frannie and Jo, with the homosexual undertones making this work an important example of the lesbian pulp fiction which came to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s.
In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with just minor bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper is very smart with slight chipping to the head and tail of the spine. Sunning to the spine. Slight creasing and the occasional small chip to extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean. Offsetting to endpapers, also affecting the final leaf of text.
Grading: VERY GOOD INDEED in a VERY GOOD dust wrapper.
