In the original price clipped dust wrapper designed by Raymond Hawkey, noted for designing the 1960s Pan paperback editions of Fleming’s Bond series. 

Set in an alternative future in which the Nazis had won the Second World War, the novel’s title refers to the British branch of the SS, which now controls the country. 

In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with just minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Prior owner’s ink signature to front free endpaper. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition with slight shelf wear to the extremities. Marginal age toning to wrap and small tidemarks to lower extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with marginal age toning and the odd spot to fore edge.

Grading: VERY GOOD INDEED in a VERY GOOD dust wrapper.
