A collector’s copy of this posthumously published memoir by American novelist, Ernest Hemingway.
The first UK edition, first impression with no further impressions stated. First published in the US earlier the same year. The work was originally due to be published in 1961 but was delayed due to Hemingway’s suicide.

The memoir details Hemingway’s life as a struggling writer in Paris in the 1920s, and references many of the notable figures of the period, including F. Scott Fitzgerald, James Joyce and Wyndham Lewis.
In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in lovely condition with small mark to lower extremity of front board. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition with just very minor shelf wear to the extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
