An early edition of the work which established Attenborough as a British national treasure.
The fourth impression. First published earlier the same year. In the original price clipped dust wrapper.
Beautifully illustrated with colour photographs throughout, the work was published to compliment the television programme of the same name. Life on Earth is considered a milestone in British broadcasting, establishing a public interest in programmes of this nature and establishing Attenborough as a cultural icon.

Dust wrapper is smart with slight bumping and shelf wear to the extremities. The odd mark to wrap and slight offsetting to fly leaves. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
