The first edition, first impression with no further impressions stated. In the original price clipped dust wrapper.

'Flashman at the Charge' sees the protagonist fighting in the Crimean War and is set between 1854 and 1855. The series is based on fictional ‘discovered historical papers’ relating to Flashman, the bully from Thomas Hughes’ novel ‘Tom Brown’s School Days’.

Dust wrapper is smart, with creasing to the extremities. Closed tear to head of spine and sunning to spine, as is common with this series. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.

Grading: NEAR FINE in a VERY GOOD dust wrapper.
