Victor Gollancz Ltd., London

The second impression of the first work of Le Guin’s groundbreaking Earthsea Trilogy.

The first UK edition, second impression. First published in 1971 in the UK and 1968 in the US. In the original unclipped dust wrapper designed by David Smee.

A classic example of children’s fantasy writing, 'A Wizard of Earthsea' follows a young boy as he joins a school of wizardry and clashes with fellow students.

In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with bumping to the extremities. Dust wrapper is very smart with shelf wear to the extremities, resulting in the occasional closed tear and chip, slightly more significant to the lower extremity of the backstrip. Sunning to spine and the occasional mark to the board. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.

Grading: NEAR FINE in a VERY GOOD INDEED dust wrapper.
