The series is based on fictional ‘discovered historical papers’ relating to Harry Flashman, the bully from Thomas Hughes’ novel ‘Tom Brown’s School Days’. This debut volume begins with Flashman’s expulsion from Rugby College.
In the original cloth binding in the original price clipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with just slight shelf wear to the extremities. Gift inscription to verso of front free endpaper. Dust wrapper is sound with archival covering adhered to wrap, causing creasing to spine. Chipping and the occasional closed tear to extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with marginal age toning.
