vi, 218pp.
Cassell, London
A pleasing first edition of the twenty-eighth book in Richards’ beloved Billy Bunter series of novels.
The first edition, first impression with no further impressions stated.
In the original price clipped dust wrapper. A pleasing example, the likes of which are increasingly difficult to source.
Illustrated throughout by Magnet illustrator C. H. Chapman.
Set at Greyfriars School, the series follows the fictional schoolboy Billy Bunter, this time involved in a treasure hunt for a medieval fortune.
In the original cloth binding in the original price clipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The odd mark to the front board. Dust wrapper is smart, with creasing and the occasional very minor closed tear to the extremities. The odd handling mark to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just minor age toning to extremities of leaves.
Grading: NEAR FINE in a VERY GOOD INDEED dust wrapper.
