The first edition, first impression with no further impressions stated. Handsomely rebound in half morocco.

From the library of modernist author John Fowles, with his bookplate tipped in to half title. Critically lauded, his notable works include 'The Magus', 'The Collector' and 'The French Lieutenant’s Woman'.

'The Years' was the last novel to be published in Woolf’s lifetime, and traces the history of the Pargiter family over a period of fifty years.

A lovely copy of this work, with unique provenance.

Handsomely rebound in half morocco with marbled boards. Externally in lovely condition. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Bookplate to half title. The odd mark to fore edge.
