Written by Social Reformer, Brigid Brophy. Brophy campaigned for a variety of social reform, including vegetarianism, gay rights, animal rights and humanism, and was responsible for the introduction of a Public Lending Right, which saw authors receive a commission when their books were borrowed from the library.
'The Snow Ball' is critically considered Brophy’s best novel, set at a costume party on New Year’s Eve in the 1960s.

Creasing and occasional chipping to extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with just marginal age toning.
