Whilst the work was first published in 1988, Dick first wrote the novel in 1956 under the title ‘The Broken Bubble of Thisbe Holt’. The book was rejected by publishers, as was all of Dick’s non-science fiction writing at the time. 

In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in lovely condition. Dust wrapper is generally smart with marks to head of wrap and rear fly leaf. The odd spot to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with spotting to fore edge.
