Whilst best known for his science fiction writing, Clarke was an avid diver, with this work offering a detailed description of the location of a legendary shipwreck off the coast of Sri Lanka. The haul contained thousands of freshly minted rupees from the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with slight shelf wear to the extremities. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition with minor creasing and shelf wear to the extremities. The odd very light mark to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
