The series is based on fictional ‘discovered historical papers’ relating to Harry Flashman, the bully from Thomas Hughes’ novel ‘Tom Brown’s School Days’. Like with many of the books in the Flashman series, Fraser includes fictional accounts of historical figures, with this work including Ulysses S. Grant and Otto von Bismarck.
