Profusely illustrated throughout by Jim Kay. Kay notably produced an extremely popular illustrated edition of the Harry Potter novels. 

Based on an original idea by Siobhan Dowd and written by Patrick Ness, ‘A Monster Calls’ follows a boy struggling with the consequences of his mother’s illness. Dowd sadly died before she could write the novel and thus Ness completed the story. The work was critically acclaimed, winning the Carnegie Medal and the Greenaway Medal and was adapted to both stage and screen. 

In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in lovely condition. Dust wrapper is excellent condition with slight creasing to extremities. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the very occasional crease to the extremities. Flat signed by the author to the half title.
