With a frontispiece and monochrome illustrations throughout by A. J. Donnell.
The story picks up immediately from where the second in the trilogy ended, and continues Smith’s space opera, following a scientist and his three companions travelling through space.
In the original cloth binding in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with just minor bumping to the extremities. Offsetting to endpapers. Dust wrapper is sound with chipping and the occasional closed tear to the extremities. Evidence of archival reinforcement to head of backstrip. Handling marks to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with dusting and the odd spot to the fore edge.
Grading: NEAR FINE in a VERY GOOD dust wrapper.
